Matter is a full-service and licensed practice: we shape a project from its first idea to its last detail — architecture, interiors, landscape, furniture, and the art on the walls — so every part speaks the same language. We work closely and personally, translating how you live into something built to last.

We believe the best spaces feel inevitable — shaped by the site as much as the people who live there. We design with nature rather than around it, letting interior and exterior blur, and we favor materials and details built for longevity that create healthy environments. We are deeply inspired by our clients' rich lives and perspectives, and weave those stories and meaning into the spaces we create for them.
