Mirror Gallery

Mirror Gallery began as a prototype: Matter's micro-house “Nest Concept,” built for the Summit community at Summit Powder Mountain in Utah.

A compact, wood-clad retreat designed to sit lightly on the mountain, it explored how little space a beautiful, livable home really needs. Today it lives a second life as an art gallery for the community's Artist in Residence program.

One of Matter's earliest built works, Mirror Gallery is small-footprint architecture with an outsized idea — a piece of the experimental spirit that shaped Powder Mountain.
